- The aim of this Alliance is to provide the Department of Defense and National Institute of Health with data and tools to evaluate biomedical effects of internal exposures to radionuclides and metals in soldiers and civilians, particularly involving particulate lung exposures. The group will generate a unified approach to sharing of data to advance information exchange among our scientific communities, and support integration with existing radiation data repositories, thereby advancing scientific knowledge relevant to treatment responses in wartime situations.
